This would definitely make a great gift for any design lovers on your Christmas list...including yourself!

Let the Christmas decorating begin!

So maybe some of you have already started your Christmas decorating, but if you are like me, you might still be looking for some inspiration. Here's what I've gathered for some ideas this year.

Silver and mercury glass accents are definitely a sophisticated, polished look.

So cozy! The garland over the mantle is cute and something I haven't seen before.

I am always drawn to ornaments and decorations in non-traditional colors, so I was instantly drawn to the purple in this room.

LOVE this room!

Another great giveaway for art lovers! The unique illustrations of Claire Heffer

Gotta love a giveaway! I was lucky enough to be introduced to the intricate pen and ink illustrations of Claire Heffer just a little while ago. I don't get to draw a lot anymore, but my bachelor's degree is in illustration, and I will always appreciate art. You should also think of it as the jewelry of any room - and we all know it's in the details!!

One lucky winner will win an animal, leaf, or initial print of his/her choosing.

To enter for a chance to win, leave a comment sharing which print you plan on picking if your name is drawn.  Go to Claire Heffer Design on Etsy to see her work and pick out your favorite.

To comment on this post (scroll to the bottom of this post and right above "Labels" you will see a number followed by the word "comments." Click on the word "Comments." Or, you will see a link, "Post a Comment," which you click on to comment.

Chic and unique gifts from some of my fav. online sources

I'm sure by now most of you have heard of flash sale sites.  I hate to admit that they consume about 15 of my precious minutes almost everyday.  The deals are too good to resist, especially if there is something you've been "needing," or if you have some gifts to check off your list.  Here are finds that would make great gifts this holiday season.

Thanksgiving decorating with candles and objects in nature

Just a bit more inspiration before my favorite holiday...yum!

Love this combo of different leaves, seeds, and pumpkins.

Branches are always dramatic - in a good way

I also love white pumpkins.  Thanksgiving suffers from orange and brown overload sometimes

Everything home decor is warm mixed metals these days, so simply silver, copper, or gold leafing some stones, or painting pumpkins with a glitzy paint will add a lot of glam to your decor.
