Chic and Glamorous Art for the Fashion Lover

Good art isn't always easy to find. Etsy has made it easier though, and has made it possible to connect a lot of artists with people who love art that isn't mass produced or unattainable to most of us. One Etsy artist I'm loving is the Lady Gatsby shop with fashion inspired prints.

I love watercolors, and then paired with the subject matter - gorgeous perfume bottles, shoes, etc., there are quite a few pieces I'd love for my master bath and office. I was lucky enough to receive a gorgeous Chanel No. 5 print and some super chic correspondence cards, and they look even better in person!

Here are a few other prints and cards I'm loving:

disclosure: I received these prints as a sample

Really cute DIY ideas - that look pretty simple too!

I love home decorating projects :) I found these on Cookie Magazine and I thought they were really cute...

She used an salvaged window frame bought on the cheap and used free wallpaper samples to create this pretty panel. There's so much you could do with this!

Get the instructions from CraftyNest

I've been doing this for a couple years now - I buy and/or collect pretty postcards or greeting cards, frame them (they don't have to be expensive frames), and then hang them in groups. It makes for a nice "arts + crafts" look

frame a tea towel

I also do this - if you can bear to rip plates out of an old artbook - frame them.

Brought to you by the talented Elizabeth Dunker via Lula. She also runs Studio Violet with Camilla Engman. These should take care of your case of the Monday's pronto! It did for mine, atleast!

Studio Violet sells posters (like the one above), adorable journals, and cards - go to the site to see more!

The studio

gorgeous wallpaper!

*love* this adorable bedding!

Not usually a fan of wall stickers - and this might be a painting, either way, I really like it!

Beautiful patterns on paper, textiles, stationary

This beautiful paper is from Kichi Inc. I'm trying to decide which pattern to buy. My plan is to buy a sheet --at only around $5.50, and stick it in a shabby-chic style white wood frame I have. It'll be beautiful art for less than lunch! Kichi has also worked with fashion designers and created custom textiles, and fashion designers have collaborated with them on their stationary. Now to choose which pattern for me...

This card was a collaboration with fashion designer, Staci Snider.

They even sell cards that come with bracelets inside!
