Outdoor Patio Eye Candy

Since the weather has been a strange mix of cold, rainy, and cloudy these past few days, I've been daydreaming about lounging out in the sunshine! Thank goodness it's starting to get back to being gorgeous. So here's a little eye candy to get you excited about spending some time in the sunshine before it's gone all too soon!

Woven furniture almost always works outdoors! I love the texture, it always looks comfortable, but most importantly it's durable. They are usually higher in price but you are paying for the supreme durability.

Here is a great set for smaller spaces! you don't have to give up the eye candy just because you have small space. I think my favorite part is the bench seating in the back! I could imagine curling up and reading a book there in some fresh air!

Using bold, bright furniture

Usually there's that one piece that stand out in a room. A lot of us, myself included, use bright pops of color only on accessories - lamps, pillows, etc. If you're feeling brave though, a bold piece of furniture can really make a room - here are a few examples I wish I was brave enough to try!

A craft or kids room is a great place to try furnishings in bold, bright colors.
There are many brands lately that are making great show stopping furniture pieces but if you have trouble finding the right piece you can always find a great DIY tutorial to change it up to your exact style.

If you have doubts or are nervous, try a colorful piece in a smaller room, hall, or entryway.

I've been looking for some furniture that will fit into our space and some great outdoor accessories that are durable enough to stay outdoors.

With a set like this I would probably set up my computer and work outside!

This set is a refreshing change from traditional outdoor furnishing.  Remember that you can always swap out the chair cushions if you're feeling the need for a change...

I don't know why, but I love it when indoor things are brought outside.  It really makes your outdoor space just feel like an extension of your home.  Luckily you can find all sorts of traditionally indoor items in stylish outside versions, like rugs, pillows, and curtains.
