Everyday interiors around the world

AT Casa is an Italian publication, but they feature home tours, designers, and events from around the world. It's nice to compare and contrast the trends that are going on in different countries, like I just learned that British design is really popular in Italy right now. I also think their photography is really different, and getting a new perspective is always a good thing.

Ideas and Inspiration, Designer Portfolios!

Thought I'd help us all over hump day with my favorite content- designer (and interior photographer) portfolios! I hope you find something to inspire you, and excite you for the weekend - spent in your home, not the office.

A library in a hallway - notice all the window seats.

Love the pasta canisters, and the cabinet hardware

The botanical prints above the couch really make this room for me

Look at this great interior design resource and store!

I found a really unique website this week that would be a great place for anyone on the hunt for antique and vintage furniture, called 1stdibs. I imagine some of you already know about it. It's a great place to stay abreast of what's going on in the field, as they feature designers, recommended books, and dealers.

Just a sample at some of the great selection you can find - registration was very fast and easy

Take a peak at recommended books and designer profiles -
