What a difference a mirror makes - cute and clever ways to use mirrors

Here's some eye candy that will be sure to make you rethink mirrors! Mirrors can make a tremendous impact in a space, and if  you are lacking in square footage or light, great mirrors can really make a room feel much bigger and brighter by bouncing light back

Mirror your mirrors - using two can have a really striking affect.

We don't hesitate to put mirrors in our bathrooms or entryways, but why not in the kitchen?  It can really open up a narrow or galley kitchen.

Make it huge.  Mirrors are one of those things where I think bigger is better.  It will reflect so much light and add a lot of grandeur.

Glamorous Chic Life
Don't settle for what your house "came with".  We have lame-o contractor grade mirrors in our bathroom.  What a difference a beautifully framed mirror would make...

Here are a couple of mirrors I would love to have in my home..

This Venetial mirror... at $249 it's not that expensive, but not in my future right now with a wedding on our heels.

Get it at Gilt.

More affordable and so pretty.

Glamorous and chic interiors from Nest design

I actually discovered this firm because I was looking for some web design inspiration for an upcoming project, and ran across their site on a web design gallery. The firm is called Nest, and they're located in Dallas, TX.

I hope you like!

I love this conservatory - the mix of elegance brought in by the chairs and dining sets, with the roughness of the stone pavers and logs is a chic contrast.

Love this chair and the wallpaper!

Interior design eyecandy

I'm a happy girl today because my boyfriend finally returned from his seemingly never-ending vacation to Chile. However, since it is rainy today, and, well, it's Monday - why not some gratuitous prettiness? Enjoy!

Conservative goes modern

Alright, so I'm a little bit of a Martha kick this week. I was really surprised to see these images were hers, because some of them are definitely erring more on the modern side, when you usually turn to Martha for more traditional, classic ideas. Some of them, of course, do have touches of romance and country flair, but all in all I think the rooms are very well done.

I love this big home office desk!

Benches stacked up as shelves!

I wish I'd thought to cover my boxspring with a fitted sheet before buying a fussy bed skirt

Love the white bedroom
